Last week I came up with the idea i wanted to use when i work with the children and the scrapstore. am going to research Steiner schools and take into account the ways that they teach and use the scrap to teach the children through play. I came p with the idea that i would help the children build bridges out of scrap and place weights on top of them to show how different structures with different strengths can take different weights.
i have included a copy of my original planning ideas and a mind map of ideas for this project.
You have thought hard about how to approach the brief. Researching the Steiner school model is a great idea. You will have a definite structure to follow when considering the various types educational task you can work with the children on.
